We’re on the hunt for a marketer to join our team, an exciting opportunity to be a part of the energetic, fast-moving world of pub marketing, and the chance to get involved with a team of food and drink enthusiasts, putting our guests at the heart of everything we do.
Peach is a collection of really great unique pubs, serving good quality, honest food, striving to be the best in hospitality. Life as a marketer in Peach is like no other, we work hard, we play hard, and make life Peachy for both our teams and our guests.
Of course, it comes with its challenges. Peach is not a chain, and whilst you’ll find similarities between our pubs, each marketer works closely with the Poddies (what we Peachy folk call Area Managers), General Managers and Head Chefs to plan pub events which suit that specific pub, town and their guests. Supporting these events with social activity, digital advertising and email campaigns is core to their success, and whilst event planning is a large part of what we do, it’s not the only thing.
We work closely with all areas of the business, assisting with menu change and product launches, using our creativity to plan group-wide campaigns and national events, write blogs and create engaging copy. We’re also always pushing to be better than we were last week. Whether that’s through increasing our web conversions, our pub social engagement, or our email open rates or delivering content that is relevant to our guests.
Then there’s our suppliers. Close working relationships are key to our business and we only work with like-minded people we trust, caring for the environment, supporting local enterprise and enjoying life. We each have a group of suppliers to manage, with the added benefit of the occasional trip to see them live in action and a few tasters here and there!
We meet every Tuesday, reviewing the last week’s performance, analysing and learning every single week, throwing ideas in the mix for future improvement. Then the rest of the time, you plan your own week. Whether you’re working from one of our lovely pubs, spending a day catching up at home, or meeting a General Manager or supplier, you manage your own diary.
We’re good at time-management, are self-disciplined and run with high energy at all times. We’re positive, we’re creative and we’re hard-working. We enjoy having a good time (who doesn’t?), love the variety in our working week, and are constantly ready for the next challenge to drop without any warning! No two days are ever the same.
So, if you have a genuine interest in food and drink, are confident and enthusiastic and love being surrounded by big personalities in a fast-moving department, then Peach marketing is for you. You’ll help maximise sales via digital marketing strategies, will produce content that excites our guests to visit us, and manage pubs in the Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire area (access to a car is necessary).
