Christmas is a time to celebrate with family and friends, sharing stories of the months gone by, and looking forward to all the great things planned for the following year. This Christmas might be a little different than any that went before, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy good food and decent wine with great company.
As we navigate this pandemic, and the ever-changing guidelines in which we’re operating and living, we know that above all things, it’s important that we all do our bit to stay safe, and prevent the spread of the virus. That’s why, since opening our doors in July, our focus has been on safety and hospitality. Keeping our team and guests safe, whilst making your pub visit as normal as possible, has been the top-priority.
No-one quite knows what December will bring, but that doesn’t mean we should stop all planning and not have a date in the diary to look forward to. Whether it’s a small group of friends, a family get together or your colleagues from work, trust us to host your Christmas do safely. Our online bookings are currently open for up to six guests, and for larger groups, why no enquire for your preferred date so you know you’ve got your booking pencilled in. We’ll do what we can to accommodate your booking safely, and within the guidelines, whatever they may be.
Whatever happens over the coming months, we will continue to focus on safety and hospitality, making our pubs fully Covid-safe, so you can be comfortable and relaxed when joining us.
You’ll find sanitiser stations on every entrance to the pub, the toilets and around the pub too, and team sanitise between delivery of drinks and food. We maintain hand-washing records of team, every shift, and hands are washed at least every 60 minutes. There’s also frequent cleaning of touch points, including door handles, handrails and bathroom taps, as well as thorough sanitisation of tables and chairs between every guest.
To adhere to social distancing in all our pubs, you’ll find fewer tables in our eateries and bars, and since we re-opened our doors, we’ve maintained table service only. Place an order with the team, or through our online ordering system. Team will maintain distance when taking orders, and as of Thursday 24th September, we’ll all be wearing masks.
There’s also perspex screens where to separate tables that are a little closer.
But that’s not all we’ve done to keep you safe! All team are Covid-compliance trained before joining us, we temperature check every team member before starting shift, as well as all teams completing a fit for work document before working. There is a designated host on every service, and continue to, and always have taken track and trace details for a guest in each group. You can also now self check-in through the NHS Covid-19 app, you’ll find a poster to scan in each and every pub.
