We’re super proud to serve Belu Water and we’re often told we don’t shout about it enough!
2018 was a milestone year for the Belu team, generating £1,012,216 net profit for WaterAid bringing their total passed to WaterAid up to £4,053,207 (as of 31st March 2019). What an achievement!
So, if you don’t already know about Belu, let us tell you.
Things you should know…
- One on nine people in the world don’t have clean water close to home, and one in three people live without a decent toilet
- They invest 100% of their net profits into WaterAid, the international development charity determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation
- In 2018, Belu brought clean water to 69,150 people, bringing the total since 2011 to 270,214 people, changing their lives forever
- Their water is sourced from Churchstoke, Powys
- Their glass bottles are 100% recyclable and their plastic bottles are made with at least 50% recycled plastic
- In April 2017, they received The Queens Award for Enterprise, Sustainable Development
