Give a huge Peachy welcome to 'The LIST'! - Peach Pubs

Give a huge Peachy welcome to ‘The LIST’!

This summer we are incredibly excited to announce the arrival of The LIST!

What is ‘The LIST’ I hear you ask, and why do you keep using capital letters when you mention it?

Well, all of your questions will be answered in a matter of minutes, and if they’re not then pop to the pub, grab a Grand Gin, and one of the team will be on hand to help!

The LIST is our very jazzy, new summer drinks list. This list is not just any list, it’s very special because the wine and the drinks are on the same list, capital letters are needed for emphasis that there is just one list. No more faffing about searching around the bar for the wine list when all you can find is the drinks list, all of your prayers can be answered with The LIST!

Now that we’ve gone through the science behind the name, things get a little more interesting… Alongside a new look and feel, The LIST is home to lots of new and exciting beverages. Perfect to whet your whistle this summer!

Drumroll please…

First up, Gin, for in Gin there is happiness!

Introducing Gin Mare and Gin Lane Pink.

Gin Mare, a Mediterranean Gin distilled with memorable botanicals such as, Rosemary, Thyme, Olives and Basil. This is the most holy of the Gins, for the still is housed in a chapel that once belonged to monks! Gin Lane, famously named after William Hogarth’s Gin Lane, is infused with herbs, bitters and liquorice, giving it a pink colour.

A balanced diet is a Cocktail in each hand…

Summer is definitely the time to sit in the sun with a Cocktail in hand (or each hand). So, we’ve put our thinking caps on and come up with the perfect thirst quenchers.

As in England we don’t have beaches readily at our disposal, we often find ourselves in our gardens. Enter, the ‘English Garden’. A refreshing Gin based Cocktail with Elderflower and Apple. Ahhhh we hear you say.

Following the Elderflower trend comes the ‘Great Chase’ with Chase Vodka’s Elderflower Liqueur and ‘Elderflower Fizz’, a Prosecco tipple to keep you hydrated.

Beauty is in the eye of the Beer holder…

We’re switching things up this time around; it’s out with the old, and in with the new! Becks Blue is no more; instead we will be topping up your glass with Erdinger Alkoholfrei. This alcohol free beer isn’t just an alternative, but also a sports drink, yes, a sports drink! Vitamins B12, folic acid and isotonic properties are all housed in a glass bottle. A beer that’s tasty and healthy, pour us a cold one! On that note, it’s with great pleasure we are now able to cater to everyone’s beer needs, as we are stocking our fridges with Estrella Damm Daura (gluten-free).

Silence is golden, unless you have children, then silence is just suspicious…

We haven’t forgotten about them, we promise! There’s plenty of new additions for the kids, the big-kids too if they fancy. Fentimans softs are what it’s all about this summer; Ginger Beer and Wild English Elderflower are the firm favourites. Not quite up your street? How about Fever-tree’s Sicilian Lemonade, just picture that Italian sunshine while you sip away, and you might just forget you’re in England!

Last, but definitely not least, the spotlight shines on Hattingley Valley’s Classic Cuvée. We won’t go on too much about it, but we will say this is the best Sparkling Wine that England has to offer, and it’ll definitely give Champagne a good run for its money! Read more about it here.

If like us, all that talk of summer drinks has left your mouth a bit dry, then why not head to the pub and peruse The LIST for yourselves.
