It’s Monday 22nd January – day one of the Peach Heroes Tour. Four days of celebrating 2017, looking forward to 2018 and shouting out our Peachy Heroes. Four pubs, eight Heroes sessions, 300 Peachy people enthusiastically living the Peach values and new partner Nicolette’s smiley face – what’s not to love!
We have a lot to celebrate:
- A new pub – The Duke of Wellington, East Horsley and a new venue, The Studio in Birmingham
- Internal promotions and new Peaches
- Pub awards – Casual Dining Restaurant and Pub Awards 2017, Pride of Stratford, Bedfordshire Food and Drink Awards, MK Food and Leisure Awards, Observer Food Monthly Awards, Pride of Warwick
- Company awards – Britain’s Best Brigade, Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For – placed 45th
- New systems to improve the way we work
- Team trips and parties
So, what does 2018 mean for us?
Named as the year of the people, 2018 will bring a fantastic new online training set up, more mentoring and training escapades, even bigger and better Peach parties, more pub and people awards, and another trip to Kenya to further support the Peach Foundation.
And our forever goal – ‘Make Life Peachier’ of course!
“We are so excited about our year of the People, it’s a great opportunity to help our teams develop and grow for the future. Whether someone is with us for three months or follows our Route to Partnership we can make a lasting difference providing skills, experience and most importantly – fun!” Nicolette, Talent Manager.
Here is a video that nicely sums up our fabulous 2017.
