As a business that really cares about the ingredients on our plates, we ensure every menu changes with the seasons. From wild game throughout Autumn, to the first English asparagus – we only serve what we’re happy to eat ourselves.
This January, you’ll find our winter menu filled with top-quality ingredients from our own isle. Our superfood salad is back and filled with baked and pickled beetroot, whipped butternut squash, buckwheat and seeds. Add your choice of crispy lamb or feta, or if you’re doing veganuary, it’s equally as good without.
Staying with our meat-free options, our new Jerusalem artichoke risotto with oyster mushrooms is truly delicious and vegan too! In season throughout the winter months, Jerusalem artichokes are high in iron and potassium and make for a very healthy vegetable!
For those looking for something light this new year, try our British coppa with celeriac remoulade. Our new delicious air-dried pork or mackerel pate on sourdough toast with soft boiled egg, makes for a perfect lunch option – especially with a portion of skinny fries!
For something a little more unusual, our Korean-inspired pork belly dish is the one for you! Slightly spicy potatoes coated in ssamjang sauce, with miso and sesame cabbage. Or, for something a little more classic, give our Cornish lamb shoulder a go. Served with cavolo nero, otherwise known and Italian kale, it’s another vegetable packed with nutrients, perfect for these colder months. We’re serving it with butter beans and ‘ndjua – a spicy Italian sausage.
For anyone with a sweet tooth, there’s English rhubarb with buttermilk pannacotta, the classic sticky toffee and five new English farmhouse cheeses to choose from!
This January, choose us. Whether it’s a quiet night out after the Christmas madness, or a belated catch up – whatever the excuse, our new menu has it sorted.
