The High Field, Edgbaston

Nestled in leafy Edgbaston, The High Field Tower House is our boutique home in Birmingham. Each of the 12 individually designed rooms combines hand-picked antiques with modern comforts, from spacious family rooms to cosy nooks, and yes, some are dog-friendly too! Just a few steps away, the High Field pub is ready with seasonal British dishes and drinks to enjoy at any time.

While you’re here: Take a stroll through Winterbourne House and Gardens, a beautifully preserved Edwardian villa surrounded by acres of botanical beauty. Fancy a longer walk? Just five minutes’ drive away, Edgbaston Reservoir offers a peaceful lakeside route, perfect for a refreshing walk. As a local nature reserve, it’s home to a variety of wildlife, making it a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors.

The Rose & Crown, Warwick

Right in the heart of historic Warwick, The Rose & Crown is our original Peach Pub, dating back to the 17th century. With thirteen charming en-suite rooms – including family-friendly options, doubles, and configurable twins – there’s something to suit everyone. Before exploring the historic town, enjoy a spot of lunch in the sunny outside seating just moments from the Market Place?

While you’re here: Warwick Castle is a must-visit, with live shows, tours, and the thrilling Castle Dungeon for those who love a bit of drama. Prefer something gentler? Watch magnificent birds of prey in action at The Falconer’s Quest.

The Drummond at Albury, Surrey

Escape to the countryside at The Drummond, where eleven gorgeous boutique rooms and a riverside garden offer a peaceful and restorative stay. Each room is designed with comfort in mind, making it the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with the simple pleasures of country life.

While you’re here: Take a leisurely walk through the stunning Surrey Hills, and visit the nearby Silent Pool Gin Distillery before returning to the comfort of your room. The Embankment, Bedford

Overlooking the serene River Great Ouse in the heart of Bedford, The Embankment is a charming riverside retreat. Our comfortable en-suite rooms will leave you feeling well rested and cared for, whether you’re visiting with family, a partner, or friends. With scenic river views and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot to settle in, unwind, and let the weekend unfold.

While you’re here: Take a peaceful riverside stroll along the Embankment to Priory Country Park, where winding paths around the glistening lake offer a relaxing escape. Little ones will love the nearby play area, while adults can soak up the views and enjoy the fresh air. When it’s time for a break, stop by Cloverdale Retreat for a warm drink before returning for a hearty pub lunch.

The Fleece, Witney

On the edge of the Cotswolds, only fifteen miles from Oxford, The Fleece offers ten rooms that combine style and comfort with a touch of country charm. Most rooms are located above the pub, with a few across the way in our cottage, offering a relaxed retreat for a weekend away, a short break in Oxfordshire, or a comfortable base for business travellers.

While you’re here: Take a stroll through Cogges Manor Farm, a hidden gem with beautiful gardens, heritage tours, and farm animals to feed – perfect for little ones and adults alike. Stop by the café for a light lunch, or return to The Fleece to enjoy seasonal British dishes and drinks in the welcoming bar.

The Bear & Ragged Staff, Cumnor

Steeped in history, The Bear & Ragged Staff is full of old-world charm, with nine snug and characterful rooms that glow with warmth in the autumn and winter months. Four rooms are in the converted Old Cottages, while five Ancient rooms sit above the pub, including a Family Suite for four.

While you’re here: Step back in time and explore the village’s past, admire the old stonework, and take in the beautiful Norman architecture of St. Michael’s Church. Feeling a bit more adventurous? Enjoy a scenic river cruise through Oxford.

The Richard Onslow, Cranleigh

Step into village life at The Richard Onslow, a classic English inn with ten characterful bedrooms offering the comforts of home and a touch of country charm. Simply yet stylishly decorated, the rooms feature original fireplaces, ancient beams, and cosy nooks, making it the perfect spot to relax. Dog-friendly rooms are also available, so your four-legged friend can come along too.

While you’re here: Head to Winkworth Arboretum, where each season paints the landscape with colour. Autumn walks here are especially magical. Wander the tranquil woodland paths and enjoy the scenic hillside views. Back at the pub, settle into the snug, enjoy a drink in the bar or relax in the secluded courtyard before heading up to your room.
