Now, with a fabulous new look inside and out, and some tempting offers, there’s never been a better time to visit and sample everything that’s on offer.

Like all Peach Pubs, everything on the menu at The Swan is cooked fresh using the best quality, ethically sourced ingredients from top suppliers, carefully selected by the pub’s chefs.

Steaks and free-range chickens are from Aubrey Allen, butcher to the Royal household.  The pub’s free-range pork is Jimmy Butler’s, fish from Brixham arrives daily from the day boats that caught it and every scoop of ice cream is from artisan producers Salcombe Dairy. Prepared with skill and care, every plate is as good as the last.

Good food is served daily from lunch until dinner and everything in between.  For summer, there’s beautiful British soft fruit including the best, tastiest strawberries, the finest green vegetables, tomatoes and salads. Look out for sensational native lobsters on the specials board as well as a wide choice of fish.  Sunday lunch is a serious affair, with at least three seasonal choices on offer including top quality Aubrey Allen beef, Jimmy Butler’s free-range pork and a mouth-watering vegetarian roast piled high with roasties, seasonal veg, Yorkshires and jugs of home-made gravy.

For every other day there’s a wonderful selection of sharing plates, salads, mains and desserts, with everything made from scratch using top quality ingredients.

New for summer are classic Neapolitan stone-baked pizzas, made with artisan sourdough for the base alongside fantastic quality Italian tomatoes and soft Fior De Latte Mozzarella for the toppings. For nibbles, try the new sharing Vegetarian Board with spinach pakoras, Moroccan spiced aubergine, houmous and croûtes, or a whole garlic and rosemary-studded Camembert baked to perfection with plenty of rustic bread for dipping.

Informal bites feature free-range chicken Milanese with garlic, sage and lemon with skinny fries or green salad plus rich duck ragù with soft egg pappardelle and crispy duck crumb – simply delicious.  Why not treat yourself to the ultimate mac ‘n’ cheese laced with tender, buttery lobster? Keep an eye out too for divine daily specials which are chalked up on the board until they run out.

To go with your food there’s a great selection of quality wines by the glass and bottle, alongside cocktails, classic and small batch grand gins and bubbly spritzes that are made for summer drinking. Refreshing free-from beers, home-made strawberry lemonade and No-jitos are just the job if you’re driving, expecting or not a drinker.

And if you are driving, with road closures in the area, why not follow a better diversion this summer and head for the pub? Beat the rush hour and get two for one pizzas every Monday to Thursday from 3 to 7pm or £1 off your pint of beer or glass of wine or fizz any week day from 5 to 7pm.

With a packed diary of events over the summer including a party on Saturday 10th August when you can try out tasters of the new menu and sip on drinks mixed for the occasion by Chase, an August Bank Holiday to remember and a special Salford street food fair on Saturday 7th September, it’s going to be a real summer celebration at The Swan.
