A Twisted Peachfest... - Peach Pubs

A Twisted Peachfest…

We run our pubs as though we’re throwing a dinner party, an analogy we often use when training our teams. It gives everyone a really easy way of understanding how to handle any situation, and ensures we get the food, drink and atmosphere right for all of our guests. We also know how to throw a blooming great party, and we’re proud to say we’ve been responsible for plenty of sore heads following countless birthdays, weddings and any other excuse our guests can find to have a bit of a knee’s up.

_DSC0823But on Monday the 3rd July, it was our turn to party. As we’ve been doing annually since we first opened 15 years ago, we closed all 18 pubs, and headed to a field near Thame, for what can only be described as a mini Glastonbury.

Thanks to the generosity of our suppliers, we’re fully catered for, with plenty of open bars serving everything from craft beers to coffee cocktails, and a properly Peachy BBQ.

Not only do our suppliers stock us up with plenty of booze and burgers, they also get stuck in, working the bars from 4pm ‘til late, meaning all we have to do was is enjoy the night, and in this year’s case – the dodgems!

_DSC0881This year’s theme was Twisted Disney, which gave us plenty of excuses to bring a certain level of hilarity to all your favourite characters, some with a touch of darkness (most of which I can’t mention in this blog). I can safely say, the 500 people in that field looked sufficiently twisted!

_DSC1213The sun was out, the band and DJ were amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. It’s a truly warm and fuzzy moment to see a company of this size all partying together with such energy, and genuine fondness for each other.

So yet again, I have to thank everyone who helped to organise such a great party, the suppliers, and the founders of Peach, who invest such a lot in ensuring the whole team are thanked for all their hard work each year.

Think it all sounds a little too good to be true? See for yourself – all crammed into 30 seconds!

Bring on PeachFest 2018!
