We’ve launched a new event space in the city, The High Field gastropub and the High Field Town House boutique Hotel in Edgbaston have thrown open the doors to The High Field Studio.
The former architects’ space, flooded with light from floor to ceiling windows, is a multi-function venue that can be tailored to suit any event.
It is in Edgbaston Village, right next door to The High Field gastropub and part of the thriving retail and leisure quarter created by Calthorpe Estates.
The refurb has added a private bar and up to 80 covers for informal events or 60 for sit down functions. The classy, open-plan interior would be perfect for birthdays, weddings and christenings, as well as business meetings and conferences. You can book a spot for a small group, or even take over the whole venue, just for you.
Either way, it’s free to hire (subject to a minimum spend). Guests can create the event they want, and we’ll do the hard work. Our kitchen team are armed with the perfect dishes, from hot and cold all-day party menus through to breakfast and deli plates for grazing.
The bar offers award-winning wines, classic cocktails, premium spirits, bottled beers and ciders, as well as Peroni and Eastcoast IPA on tap. Party sized magnums and spirits by the bottle are also available to make the event that much more special, or guests can come up with their own drinks packages to suit their event. 
The Studio manager, Sarah Robinson, said: “Great parties happen in great spaces and this is most definitely one of them. Not only do we have a really open, versatile space that simply looks amazing, we can be the ultimate party hosts to throw any kind of party from informal weddings, lunches, dinners, DJ’s and dancing. We’ve got it all covered.”
