With International Women’s Day just yesterday and Mother’s Day this weekend, we wanted to high five the number of women we have in our teams, leading our pubs. In a male dominated industry, it’s fantastic to be able to celebrate that 9 of our 19 pubs are managed by some of the best female caterers in the industry. Not only that, two of them are Peach Partners and five have been highlighted as future Senior Managers in the company – we’re proud to say we’re leading from the front.
Women as Chefs is a tougher matter, but we’re close to having twenty now, and are always looking for more. It’s great to see hospitality as a career that girls are considering.
More importantly, it’s wonderful to be part of a company where gender doesn’t matter. Our male and female teams work well together and the opportunities for both are equal.
